A Letter Regarding Southern California Weekend Children’s Camp
during the 2019 Southern California Blending Conference

Mark 10:13, 16: “And they brought little children to Him so that He might touch them...and taking them into His arms, He fervently blessed them, laying His hands on them.

To the parents planning to attend the 2019 Southern California Blending Conference,

As a supplement to an announcement letter sent to the churches in Southern California, we would like to provide details regarding the Southern California Weekend Children’s Camp, which will take place on the weekend of June 8-9, 2019 during the 2019 Southern California Blending Conference.

We are pleased to be able to gather the dear children of the saints in the churches for a wonderful time of blending at  1853 W. Ball Road, Anaheim, California. Your children will enjoy supervised activities, such as singing, story-telling, games, crafts, and snacks while meeting children of the same age from all over Southern California (most activities will be conducted by grade levels).

Age Restriction

Children’s service will be provided on Saturday and Lord’s Day for children in levels Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children must be at least 5 years old AND be currently in Kindergarten to attend. (Parents may supervise infants, toddlers and pre-K children in an overflow room with a live audio/video conference feed in room NW2 at the Ministry Conference Center during all meetings of the conference. No children should be left unattended.)

Registration

All children need to be registered beforehand via an online registration form found at https://www.socalblending.org.

Registration Deadline

Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Register as early as possible to ensure that we can provide an adequate number of serving ones.

Check-In/Check-Out Time

Parents can check their children in during these times:

● Session 1 (Saturday Afternoon): 3:15-4:00pm

● Session 2 (Saturday Evening): 6:30-7:00pm
● Session 3 (Lord’s Day Morning): 9:15-10am

Parents should check their children out immediately after dismissal from the conference meetings.

Check-In/Check-Out Procedures

We will use a check-in/check-out procedure that will require each child to wear an ID identifying their parents and their contact info; parents will be required to present matching ID or other means for verifying identification before a child is released by the serving ones to the parents.  Only parents and legal guardians will be allowed to register their children and drop off or pick up their children. Other relatives, friends, or serving ones may not register children nor drop off or pick up children.

Snacks

Dinner will be provided on Saturday and simple snacks will be provided on Lord’s Day. Please indicate if your children have any food allergies on the registration form.

The check-in/check-out procedures described above are being implemented to ensure the security of your children. We give first priority to the safety and well-being of your children and have made all arrangements with this in view.
